When you think of an orchestra or brass band, you probably have very clear images and, above all, sounds in your head.
The Crossover Orchestra Westpfalz has set itself the goal of connecting new images and sounds with these two terms in its audiences. Founded in 1928 as the orchestra of the Musikverein Otterbach, it has a very long tradition, but has always had the courage to try something new.
For the orchestra, crossover means combining the traditional with the modern. Rock and pop, choirs, singers, electric guitar are just as much part of it as the classic line-up of a brass band.
The symbiosis of both creates a unique sound experience and an extraordinary stage atmosphere. Experience it yourself.

13. January 2024 // "Mit Musik ins neue Jahr" - NewYears-Concert in Siegelbach // Schulturnhalle
After 2023, the “Crossover Orchestra West Palatinate” will also play the New Year’s Concert in Siegelbach in 2024.
Under the musical direction of Dr. Frank Zeihsel and Jochen Messer, the orchestra has once again put together a varied program with all kinds of musical highlights. Titles by Frank Sinatra, Tina Turner and Whitesnake are just as much a part of the varied repertoire as Italian hits and film music.
This year the Crossover Orchestra West Palatinate will once again welcome musical guests to the concert. It is supported on vocals by Ramona Dworak, Michaela Clemenz, Stephan Hugo, Jürgen Walzer and Ben Clemenz.
The evening is rounded off by the “Crossover Choir”, the Crossover Orchestra West Palatinate’s own background choir with singers from all over the region.
Tickets cost €10 in advance. The advance booking offices are the Lesmeister bakery, the boards of the Siegelbach association ring and the boards of other clubs in Siegelbach. In addition, the orchestra offers sales by pre-ordering at the email address: info@crossover-orchester-westpfalz.de.
